Regarding the proposal to deny white men the right to vote.  It would only be for 20-30 years, in order to permit “redistribution of global assets to their rightful owners” and reduce “the influence of reactionary and neo-liberal ideology in the world”.  My reactions: (1) asserted cause-and-effect does not exist. (2) You could be sure that franchise denial would extend indefinitely beyond 30 years in the futile pursuit of ever greater equality (3) Who would be ‘white’ and how would they tell? Irish?  Arabs?  Persians?  (4) What about sons of white and non-white parents; would 1/2 non-white parentage be sufficient for voting?  1/4?  (5) Which unfavored group would be next to lose the franchise?

I hope it is a April Fool’s joke.

UPDATE: it is a hoax.  I fell for it, too.
