Really, how dumb, IMHO.  “CNN and other news outlets were blocked on Friday from attending an off-camera White House press briefing that other reporters were hand-picked to attend, raising alarm among media organizations and First Amendment watchdogs” from CNN.  So now the MSM will talk about itself for the next 24 hours.  Meanwhile the administration can advance on other agenda items with less interference.

If the MSM had any sense, they would either (1) ignore the incident (2) put ii in last paragraph in otherwise routine story about press briefing in the White House.  Behavior that is ignored goes away.  Instead they are crying to the heavens about this latest grievance.

Maybe they have a point, though apparently a President (or press secretary) who has press favorites is old hat.  My point is that the dumb MSM walked right into another trap, and worse, do not even realize it is a trap.
